A short drive takes you to Arezzo with its masterpieces painted by Piero della Francesca, to the medieval villages of Montepulciano, Pienza and Lucignano. You can even use the bikes at the villa and take a ride to the town centre from where you can actually follow a bike trail all around the lake. There are some cute towns around the lake where you can stop off along the way for refreshments and views.
