The enchanting villa is nestled amidst its private secluded park just outside the walls of historic Montefalco. The majestic old pine trees stand tall as did author Hermann Hesse in the early nineteen century when he admired the view from here and wrote: "Outside the resort, I found a beautiful garden that surrounded an isolated villa ... there I rested in the shade of ancient cypresses and admired the mixture of large shadows and fine sunrays in the green valley."

Peaceful retreat

The villa and its park is a true oasis where you can serenely enjoy the peace and quiet, the view and not least the good food in the restaurant. The park is well maintained and is it just as charming in the rooms as it is outside and in the common areas.

Good facilities and authentic setting

You will appreciate the character and authentic feel of the villa, and if it wasn't for the swimming pool, you would feel like it was a much older time. However, times have changed and we all need modern comforts so you will be pleased to find air conditioning, a mini-bar, satellite TV and a safety deposit box in the rooms.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast & choice of restaurants

You can easily stroll into the medieval town of Montefalco with its old city walls just a few hunded metres away. You will be spoilt for choice for restaurants and wine bars in town, or alternatively you can eat in the villa's restaurant. However, there is hardly any danger that you will skip breakfast here because it really is exceptionally good. If you are used to being disappointed by Italian hotels' breakfasts, it is about to change. It includes many homemade cakes, especially the local specialty "rocciata" that can be best described as an immensely delicate strudel stuffed with apples, grapes and other goodies.

There are a total of fourteen rooms here and the difference between standard and superior rooms is mainly the size but also the superior rooms usually have a really good view. Both types are in the in the main building with exception of one single room. The three suite rooms in addition to the bedroom have a small living room and therefore the possibility of adding an extra bed. They are located in the annex building that once housed the gardener and his family around 100 metres away from the villa and near to a less crowded road. Therefore there can be some traffic noise in the suites. To add two extra beds you need to book at least a superior room.
