The village of Paciano is just a short distance away (2km) where there are a few restaurants and shops. You will find yourself in a peaceful setting where you can't see another neighbour as the nearest is 150 metres away.
The farm was well overdue a renovation, and the owners started this impressive project in 1998. The barn remains untouched still but the overall result of what they have done so far is impressive. They have transformed it into a really tasteful and inviting villa! The barn has an old bread oven where you are welcome to make pizzas as guests sometimes do. This just adds to the charm!

Villa Casaglia is divided into two apartments which are rented together. Here is a 12 x 6 metre large pool (150 cm deep), a BBQ grill, the aforementioned bread oven and of course tables and chairs so you can eat in the open. In a small annex next to the pool there is a washer, dryer and drying rack.
Villa Casaglia - sleeps 12:
- On the ground floor you will find a large living room with a sofa bed for two people and a fireplace and satellite TV, a kitchen with four burner stove, an oven, a refrigerator and a dishwasher, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and two bathrooms, one with a shower, the other with a bath, both of course with a toilet.
On the first floor is a large living room with a fireplace and satellite TV, a kitchen with four burner stove, an oven, a refrigerator and a dishwasher, a bedroom with two single beds, three bedrooms with double beds and two bathrooms, one with a shower, the other with a bath, both naturally with a WC.
Lovely house with good room for the 10 people we were away with, all adults. There's air, space and opportunity for some time alone. At no time you feel cramped. The house is located fantastically with a view everywhere. Morning and evening, it's a true pleasure to eat outside with nice and different postcard looking pictures everywhere.
The only thing that can be improved is the quality of the domestic appliances, service and grill facilities. We had a coffee maker (one too little), cheapest edition, no Thermos. Service and glass from different sets a la holiday camp. An oven, which worked poorly, and where the handle was loose. A grill, where the wood and the lighting up is unorganised, and more resembled a scout camp. A lot of details, which didn't work optimally or was cheap equipment, and which didn't matched up to the rest of the house and the price for a week.
