You 'llfind the splendid vineyard Azienda Agricola Spinola outside the small town of Torgiano, in the very heart of Umbria. One of the buildings belonging to the large property has been converted to three superb apartments.
Apart from producing wine and organic vegetables the farm also breeds livestock. Guests are able to take advantage of this by buying directly from the "stable door". However, you are never on top of each other because the building housing the apartments stands on its own in its own large enclosed garden with fruit trees, pergola and 5 x 10 m swimming pool.

Each apartment has its own barbeque to be put anywhere in the garden that you wish. The apartments "Brufa" and "Mela" also have a washing machine and a dishwasher, a TV, an oven, telephone and safety deposit deposit box. Pets are welcome. Various shops and tennis courts are 1 km away in Torgiano, and horse riding facilities are 3 km away. Perugia is 13 km and Assisi 15 km away.
The 1 bedroom apartment Nido (55 m²) is on the ground floor in its own building opposite the two other apartments. The apartment is suitable for the disabled and consists of a small kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with toilet. The apartment has an oven, dishwasher, washing machine, telephone and own veranda with outdoor furniture. It is possible to sleep 2 extra on the sofa bed in the living room.
The 3 bedroom apartment Mela (140 m²) is on two floors. On the ground floor there is a living room, a dining area with a kitchenette, a bedroom with a small double bed and a bathroom with toilet. On the first floor there is a living room with fireplace, a bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with toilet with a bath. It is possible to sleep two extra on the sofa bed in the living room.

If you want a vacation home, where you feel at home, then pick Spinola. It’s peaceful here, a fantastic view, a lovely clean and functional/spacious building. The main house is divided into 2 big apartments, we stayed in the Bruffa-apartment with 3 bedrooms, big living room 2 bathrooms and a big Italian kitchen-dining area. Big garden with private roofed terrace with a grill. The pool was perfect size and has an appropriate depth of 1,6 m. The host Fiorbellina must be experienced, she is simply full of fun. Speaks good English, has a great sense of humour, is helpful with everything incl. lends her 3 mountain bikes, opens her kitchen garden for general use, we almost didn’t buy any vegetables, melons, etc. she produces great red and white wine for very favourable prices. The location is very central in Umbria, where the cities of Perugia, Bevagna, Cittivia, the Cascata delle Marmore the national park with the mountain hiking trails is reachable within 1-1/2 hours. Rome is reachable in 1 ¾ hours. We have been many places in Italy, now also in Umbria, definitely the least touristy place and with an unusually hospitality. The place is not suitable for families with young children up to the age of 12 years. Only “downside” is the mattresses in the beds, they are too soft!. We will be back ?????????? 5 adults and very satisfied costumers.
The apartment is quite spacious. With 3 good bedrooms. Kitchen-dining area on the ground floor and living room on the first floor. Two bathrooms. A big garden with a swimming-pool belongs to the house, which we shared with another three generation family.
There was a nice roofed terrace to each apartment, where there was an opportunity for grilling.
There was free access to collecting vegetables in the hostess vegetable garden. As a start, a big basket filled with vegetables was ready for us. Furthermore the hostess sold good wine for very reasonable prices.
For a three generation family, where the children are 2 and 5 years old, the place is very close to being ideal. However, it could have been nice, if there had been a pool for children.
The place was lovely - and there was lots of space. The kitchen was very well-equipped.
The only thing left to be a little desired was the pool - which was small and boring.
